🕯️ How long before my order ships?
Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–5 business days, assuming the items are in stock and no changes were made after checkout.
During major sales or holidays, processing may take a little longer — we’re a small team (with Sofie and Lucie keeping us in line 🐶🐾) and pour every candle by hand with care.
If there’s ever an unexpected delay, we’ll reach out right away.
🚗 Do you offer local pickup or delivery?
Yes! We currently offer free local delivery within approximately 15–20 miles.
When checking out, simply select your preferred option:
- Local Delivery – If you’re within our delivery radius, we’ll hand-deliver your order right to your doorstep.
We love connecting with our local community — and Sofie and Lucie are always thrilled when we make nearby deliveries. 🐾 (please note, they're not on all deliveries but we do take them on some!)
🌙 How can I keep my candles looking their best?
Candles and sunlight don’t mix well. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat can cause fading, discoloration, or softening.
To keep your candles looking beautiful:
- Store them in a cool, dry place (ideally below 80°F)
- Avoid displaying them near bright light or windows for long periods
- If the candle has a lid, keep the lid on when not in use to prevent dust buildup
🌿 What kind of wax do you use?
All Manifest Magic Co. candles are hand-poured with a luxury coconut–apricot wax blend — chosen for its smooth, creamy finish and clean burn. It’s sustainable, vegan, and free from paraffin and phthalates.
🔥 What kind of wicks do you use?
We primarily use crackling wooden wicks for a cozy, ambient burn, and occasionally cotton wicks in certain designs or jars.
Every wick we use is lead-free and zinc-free — always clean, safe, and tested to perform beautifully with our wax and fragrance blends.
✂️ Do I really need to trim the wick?
Yes — a little maintenance goes a long way. Trim your wick to ¼ inch before each burn.
This prevents:
- Soot or smoke buildup
- The wick “mushrooming”
- Excessive flickering or large flames
Trimming helps your candle burn cleaner, safer, and longer.
🕳️ My candle has wax on the sides or a tunnel down the middle. What’s happening?
A little wax “hang-up” is normal at the start — it usually evens out.
But tunneling (a deep hole forming down the center) can happen if the candle wasn’t burned long enough during its first few uses. To prevent this:
- Let your candle burn 3–4 hours (or until the wax melts to the edges) each time.
- Always keep the wick trimmed and the candle on a flat surface away from drafts.
Our recipes are extensively tested to minimize tunneling, but each space burns differently — patience and proper burn habits make all the difference.
🌬️ Why does my candle sometimes smoke or puff?
That’s usually from drafts, air movement, or an untrimmed wick.
To reduce it:
- Keep away from vents, fans, or open windows
- Trim the wick
- Allow the candle to fully cool before relighting
🌸 What’s that “mushroom” on my wick after burning?
That’s just carbon buildup from the fragrance oil. Totally normal!
Simply trim it before lighting again. Think of it as your candle saying, “Hey, I’m ready for a refresh.”
💨 How do I extinguish my candle without smoke?
Avoid blowing it out — that can cause smoke and hot wax splatter.
Instead:
- Use a wick snuffer or
- Gently place the lid over the jar (if heat-safe) to suffocate the flame
📦 Do you ship every day, including weekends?
We typically ship Monday through Friday, though we may occasionally ship on weekends.
During hot weather, we try to avoid weekend transit so candles don’t sit in delivery trucks.
To protect your order in summer:
- Try to have someone home when your package arrives
- Bring it inside right away
- Avoid leaving it in the sun or on a hot porch
Melted wax isn’t covered by shipping insurance — so your help getting it safely inside means the world!
📬 Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
Yes, we do! We’ll select the best carrier for your delivery based on size and location.
⏰ How long does shipping take?
Transit times vary by carrier and distance, but most U.S. orders arrive within 2–7 business days after shipping.
You’ll receive tracking info once your order is on its way.
Please note: during holidays, sales, or postal delays, transit times may vary — but we’ll always do our best to get your magic delivered quickly.
💔 What if my candle arrives damaged?
We’re so sorry if that happens! Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at labradormoonwi@gmail.com with your order number and photos of the damage.
Keep your original packaging — we may need it for an insurance claim or replacement.
😅 I don’t love the scent I ordered. Can I return it?
Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns based on scent preference since fragrance is subjective.
But we always include detailed scent notes on every product page to help you choose — and remember, candles make wonderful gifts!
🌎 Can I reuse or refill my candle jars?
Yes! Certain jars can be refilled once they’ve been thoroughly cleaned and inspected to ensure they’re safe for another burn. If you’d like a refill, reach out to us at labradormoonwi@gmail.com to confirm your jar style qualifies and costs
Otherwise, our jars make gorgeous vessels for repurposed magic — think crystal holders, match jars, cotton ball containers, or small plant pots.
And if you’d rather recycle, most local programs will gladly accept our glass jars once cleaned.
⚠️ Why stop burning at ½ inch of wax?
For safety! When too little wax remains, the jar can get too hot and potentially crack.
Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant surface and discontinue use once about half an inch of wax remains.
